Seattle-based singer/songwriter/guitar player, Porter Harp, is in the studio making new RAWK music and he uses William Alan Photo!
I provided photography for his last CD. Here is the front cover:
This epic portrait was used on the back cover with the song list text over it.
Localist Seattle used my environmental portrait of Chika Tokara for a blog post about her wonderful Japanese treats called wagashi.

Harumi has implemented my environmental portraits on her website.

On July 8, 2007 (787) this brand new commercial aircraft was unveiled to 15,000 awaiting fans!
I was standing outside the paint hangar where the new livery was held secret until its reveal on the date that matches the model (787). Below are the very first photographs of a long awaited aircraft being tugged out of the paint hangar and over to the factory near Everett, WA. The factory doors were closed and 15,000 fans and media awaited the aircraft to arrive. Once in place the doors to the factory were opened to reveal this new airplane. It would be yet another 2.5 years before it actually flew for the first time.
I made the large images on the left in the screen prints below.

Naomi Yoshida, president of Voice Library Japan in Seattle, WA, USA. Voice Library in Japanese is a volunteer organization, established in April of 2004 as a Non-Profit Corporation in the state of Washington… Voice Library in Japanese focuses on making audio recordings of books written in Japanese and reading books aloud on visit to wherever our services are needed (private homes, hospitals, nursing homes, etc.) for individuals in the community that are unable to read due to disabilities or otherwise… For those living outside their homeland, being able to stay in touch with their culture through reading materials provides them the joy and comfort of their native language. Yet, various reasons keep many from enjoying reading in their native language. Voice Library’s mission is to serve the community through reading and other activities.
